ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Breanna Thomas-McDuffie. I’m an interdisciplinary designer, artist, and photographer with a strong foundation in graphic design and visual storytelling. My practice spans branding, editorial, and print design, photography, and art. No matter the medium, my goal is to create work that makes people feel something.
I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from Bowling Green State University in Spring 2025, where my academic focus was branding and print design, alongside collaborative and conceptual projects. In 2025, I was recognized on the GDUSA Student to Watch list. I am currently pursuing my MFA at the University of Cincinnati, where my practice has expanded into interdisciplinary art, including watercolor, photography, and installation. My work often focuses on themes of love, emotion, and human interaction, and explores how visual communication can create connections between people and ideas.
I am drawn to projects that allow for hands-on creative involvement from concept through execution, especially work that invites interaction and engagement. I am interested in projects that challenge conventions, explore new ways of making, and create experiences that feel both new and familiar while reflecting something honest about who we are.
Outside of work, I stay inspired through film, music, fashion, photography, and exploring cities, influences that shape how I approach creative direction and execution.
I am currently available for freelance and collaborative work, including branding, visual design, photography, and concept development. If you are looking for a thoughtful, reliable, creative with a strong design foundation and an interdisciplinary approach, I would love to connect.
